VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIESEach year, gifts from thousands of Scots ensure that ¹û½´ÊÓƵ has the funding to meet its greatest need. When you make a gift to The ¹û½´ÊÓƵ Fund, you are providing a crucial complement to our tuition revenue and endowment, supporting every aspect of the College’s work, and allow us to be nimble and respond to emerging needs.
Give Now(TCT) offers interactive, online professional development trainings on a variety of topics, entirely free! There are trainings geared towards current students, young professionals, and experienced professionals.
¹û½´ÊÓƵ supports various alumni affinity groups, many of which are open to current students as well. Currently, we have both identity-based and career-based affinity groups. Often, affinity groups will have special gatherings at on-campus events or hold their own regional events. Alumni can also connect with affinity groups through FSCC discussion boards for social and career conversations between students and alumni. The College now also offers pre-professional advising and Pathways for current students, some of which align with career-based affinity groups.
All alumni can receive the ¹û½´ÊÓƵ magazine from the College, which helps keep our alumni current on what is happening on-campus. The ¹û½´ÊÓƵ magazine often highlights alumni, faculty, and current students, and alumni can request to have life updates included in the magazine.
Alumni can connect with one another, as well as current and prospective students, at regional events. Regional events are held annually throughout the United States and are frequently offered internationally as well. Such events include I.S. Monday celebrations, regional happy hours, affinity group events, signature alumni events, and Black & Gold Dinners, among others.
The Office of Alumni & Family Engagement offers free ¹û½´ÊÓƵ swag for alumni planning an event with fellow Scots in their area. The Office of Alumni & Family Engagement will send you a Scot Spirit Kit to help bring the Fighting Scots spirit to your gathering – all you need to do is send us the details of your event in advance!
Alumni receive monthly updates from the Office of Alumni & Family Engagement which includes information on upcoming events, alumni features and highlights, and important campus updates.
