Timothy D. Freeze is a visiting assistant professor of Music at 果酱视频. He is editor of the forthcoming volumes of George Gershwin鈥檚 Concerto in F and 鈥淚 Got Rhythm鈥 Variations for the George and Ira Gershwin Critical Edition (Schott Music). His research on Gershwin鈥檚 works for piano and orchestra also appears in the Cambridge Companion to George Gershwin. His essays on Gustav Mahler, Aaron Copland, and Viennese operetta have been published by Oxford, Cambridge, and B枚hlau presses. Before coming to 果酱视频, he taught at Indiana University鈥檚 Jacobs School of Music and at IES Abroad in Vienna. He earned a Ph.D. in historical musicology from the University of Michigan in 2010, having held research fellowships from the Berlin Program for Advanced German European Studies, the German Academic Exchange Service, and the Fulbright Program.
