Dr. Kille regularly teaches Introduction to International Relations and the upper level courses The United Nations System, Nationalism & Interdependence, Political Leadership in International Relations, and Peace Studies.

Dr. Kille also serves as the faculty advisor to Model United Nations.

Publications

Dr. Kille is an expert on international organization leadership, including authoring聽From Manager to Visionary: The Secretary-General of the United Nations聽and serving as editor of and contributor to聽The UN Secretary-General and Moral Authority: Ethics and Religion in International Leadership. Current work in this area, with Bob Reinalda, is focused on聽IO BIO, Biographical Dictionary of Secretaries-General of International Organizations. He is the co-author, with Alynna Lyon, of聽The United Nations: 75 Years of Promoting Peace, Human Rights, and Development. Comparisons and connections between the United Nations and regional organizations are drawn in journal articles appearing in聽Global Governance, Journal of International Organization Studies, and聽Political Psychology. His work on active teaching and learning has been widely published and in 2010, along with his colleagues Matthew Krain and Jeffrey Lantis, Kille was awarded the International Studies Association鈥檚 Deborah Gerner Innovative Teaching in International Studies Award.
